Can my 3-year old attend the PreSchool class? Fully potty-trained 3-year olds are welcome to join the PreSchool class.

Is this a drop off program? Yes and no. Parents who are scheduled for a volunteer role will remain on-site during co-op hours. Parents who are not assigned to volunteer that week are welcome to leave during the co-op day. Families who would prefer to stay on-site regularly are encouraged to sign up for a consistent volunteer position throughout the year.

What safety measures are in place? The doors of the building will remain locked at all times. All teachers and parent volunteers must pass a rigorous background check.

What curriculum will be used? Music, Art, and P.E. classes will focus on age-appropriate activities and skill development aligned with national standards for each subject area. During tutoring time, students will bring their own curriculum and assignments to work on. Licensed teachers may use their professional expertise to provide additional support, guidance, and supplemental resources to help students with various academic topics as needed. Because families use a wide variety of homeschool curricula, there will not be one co-op-wide academic curriculum used.

What are the class sizes? Each class (combination of 2 grades) will be capped at 16 students.

How are payments made? Families have the option to pay online or via check. Additional information will be sent to families once enrollment has been confirmed.

Will there be performances/showcases/projects for families to attend? There will be a Christmas program. There will also be a Spring program/Art show in the spring.

Are devices allowed? Yes. Students may bring devices to be used for academic and educational purposes only. Personal use of phones or devices during co-op hours is not permitted. Students will have access to a monitored internet network intended solely for educational use.
